"When I was asked to create the scent identity of Leandra, I started thinking of jewelry brands and how they construct their universes. Then I sat down with its founder Alejandra Rumeu Claret, who described Leandra’s personality. She spoke passionately of an elegant woman who is strong, determined and sophisticated, who wears exquisite jewels in a nonchalant way. She described Leandra's spirit as being at ease in your own skin. I soon realized that Leandra is more than a brand, it is a personal story and a legacy. It is Alejandra’s alter ego and it is inspired by women she deeply admires. Women that are strong and feminine, elegant, versatile and subtle. As a result, the fragrance we created feels deeply personal and universal at the same time. A fragrance that, like Leandra, has a unique personality. A complex and elegant scent with fig, mouget blanc, Iris and musk notes that embodies the sophistication of its muse."
