Gold & Diamonds

At Leandra, our jewellery is made with 18K gold, which is analysed by the official laboratory and verified by the manufacturer, and comes with the Spanish Royal Mint hallmark. Our team of gemologists chooses each stone meticulously, selecting at least F/G colour and VS purity grades. All our diamonds and other precious stones are graded according to the certification standards used by both the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and HRD (Hoge Road voor Diamant).

The 4 Cs of diamonds:

Cut

This is the symmetry, proportioning and polish of a diamond. At Leandra we cut every stone to make it radiate light and sparkle at its best.

Colour

Diamonds are graded from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow). Pure diamonds are perfectly transparent and colourless. At Leandra, we pay special attention to colour, which is why we guarantee all our diamonds are at least F/G.

Carat

A carat is the unit of weight for diamonds. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams. At Leandra you can select from a range of different diamond carat weights.

Clarity

A perfectly clear diamond, like the ones we use at Leandra, won't show any inclusions (internal defects) or blemishes (external imperfections).
